This is a founder-drafted starting point, not final legal terms. It describes what this site actually sets today — checked directly against the code, not assumed.
The one cookie we set
HelloExpo sets a single first-party cookie — a cart identifier — so the site knows which Shopify cart belongs to you as you browse. It's strictly necessary: without it, items you add to your cart wouldn't be there when you go to check out. It doesn't track you across other sites and isn't used for advertising.
What we don't currently use
No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts are installed on this site today. If that changes as the business grows, this page will be updated to reflect it — and where required, a consent banner will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.
Checkout
When you check out, you're handed off to Shopify's own hosted checkout, on Shopify's domain. Shopify sets its own cookies there under its own privacy policy — this page only covers helloexpo.shop itself.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Since the only cookie this site sets is required for the cart to function, blocking it means the cart won't persist between pages — everything else on the site still works.
